Probably. For one thing, they are lower in calories and carbs, and you can buy them in whole grain versions, or tomato and spinach flavors.

Not as a rule. It is less bread, so you maybe getting fewer carbs that way, but flour is flour, and the same basic stuff goes into tortillas as goes into bread.
