Another Q: Is it tru tht the best of friends of the opposite sex have a greater chance of marrying as opposed to the ppl they have dated? srry if the question is not clear.....

I have married my high school sweetheart and have been married for over 5 years now and we are still going strong. I have also two other friends who married their high school sweetheart and are still going good, however, I had another friend who ended up divorced withing 2-3 years but I put the blame on partying, that's all they did, so in my opinion, it really depends on the couple and maturity level and how ready they are, If they still want the single/live free lifestyle, I would wait, If they are ready for a real commitment, and to take life seriously, then I think they would be okay.

It's said that people who are friends before they get together make the best couples and last the longest, but I proved that wrong in 8th grade.
My highschool sweetheart is my fiance. We're going to get married sometime in the future.

Just depends on the situation. I strongly object to anyone getting married before they're 25. Live free while you can. Marriage isn't the answer to everything. That's why we have such a high divorce population rate.

I married my hs sweetheart.
Janica I wish I would have got out in 5 years but didn't make it out til year 7. Actually, everyone I know that married their HS sweetheart is divorced now, except for one couple.

No, most people who marry their high school sweethearts get divorced within 5 years.
No, it's not better to marry your best friend, but the person you marry should become your best friend.
