lentil and chick pea loaf
soak handful of chick peas over night in water put in pan with 250g Brown or continental lentils (if you shop at tesco)cover with water and then some bring to boil and simmer til tender and water almost gone meanwhile chop and fry a large onion till brown in oil or fat .Drain remaining water from the lentils add the fried onions,2 tsp herbs couple of vegi stock cubes seasoning to taste 2 large eggs and enough oatmeal to make a stiff paste ,put into large baking tin cover and bake at 180c till knife comes out clean serve with thick brown gravy

I haven't eaten yet, but I'm just about finished cooking Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, peas & onions, gravey, and biscutes. Buy the way instead of ketchup i'm using Jerk sauce. Makes for different taste thats real good
