It's not stupid to cry, you had a stupid babysitter. If you are crying for no good reason though you may have a depression/biochemical imbalance. If you are crying because of emotions, real emotions like sadness or happiness that is okay. For alot of years I would break out into crying which incapacitated my activities for about 2 days every 3 months or so, a depression spell. Counseling didn't help but medication has and I no longer have those awful dark hole pit days. So if you are crying and there is no good reason you should talk with your doctor and get some help. Some women lack enough Serotonin in the brain to prevent depression.

Crying is our body's response to something that causes us stress, pain or confusion. It's a natural, normal release of chemicals from the brain that stimulates the tears.
Considering you're 15+ I would say it's very normal and not the least bit stupid.
Your hormones right now are a raging mess and you will experience lots of emotional changes along with the physical ones that accompany your age development.
Don't let anyone get you down, if you need to cry, cry. Follow your gut instinct.
And don't worry, this too shall pass. It's not going to be this way forever.

There is nothing wrong with crying. Crying is really just a way to relieve stress. When your body is too stressed, it wants you to cry. Crying actually helps because it relieves the stress and usually makes you feel better afterwards, at least better than you were when you were holding it in. Every once and a while, everyone has to cry at some point.

There is nothing wrong with crying - tears release toxins which make us healthier beings. However, pay attention to when you are crying and how much you are crying. Now that you are older, you may be depressed or have a higher amount of estrogen for a male teen. You should speak to your doctor if your crying seems excessive. (I like Draguna's response)

Crying is actually good.. if u take a look at celebs like Ciara,if u know her..she has said that she cries alot, because its good for u to be sad sometimes and not always happy..its good for ur health..i think that u need a stronger support system. if u ever feel like ur a weakling then just be like.." No im not a weakling"..stand up for urself and dont let ur self fall to the ground

=)

I know exactly how you feel. I cry whenever there's a little reason too.
But no, crying is not stupid. Holding your emotions forever won't do you any better, because sometime you will have a breakdown, espeically if it was something very serious.
Everybody cries. You're not the only one.
Hope I helped.

Crying is perfectly natural and healthy. If you feel the need to cry, let it out, it's okay. If it is because of self esteem issues, you should try to work that out, but not becuase of the crying. Don't worry, EVERYONE does it. (including me, a 14 1/2 year old.)

Nothing wrong with crying... I'm a big old grumpy Navy flying-veteran, and I cry at alot of movies, when one of the animals on the ranch dies, when my daughters do something truly cute, and when my wife touches my heart just right.

If you're crying ALOT... without a TRIGGER... it might be a good idea to talk to a counselor / doctor to check for depression.

A good HEALTHY cry is great medicine... relieves alot of stress !!

Good Luck and Take Care.

Listen to me kid, we, as human beings, are very week, we need to eat, we need to laugh, we need to cry. We have a lot of weeknesses, so dont mind about crying. The thing is What do you cry about?. Ask yoursefl why am I crying. The world is not over. Whatever doesnt kill you, makes you stronger. So fight against that weakness and be a tough guy.

Oh don't you worry about that! It is just hormones! When I was your age I was the same way. You'll grow out of that. What I did to not cry was I drew a funny picture like a clown. (i don't really like clowns but it stll helped!)

Crying doesn't show weakness even Jesus Cried.
