I will do what I do every day. I will put on my uniform with pride and remember why I still serve. I will follow the orders of the President of the United States and the officers appointed over me. I will defend this county against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
I'm not brain-washed and don't worship Bush. I have served under 4 Presidents, Republican and Democrat, and will continue to serve no matter who wins the election. I serve my county and not a political party or agenda. I believe in my country and in what I do.

September 11 is one day in our history; yes we should remember our fellow Americans that died and those lives that were saved by the heroism of many but we need to think about these issues, consequences and remember Americans every day; we need to invest in the USA daily not just as a remembrance in September; many lives have been lost in the service of our country; many people have stood up and gave a family member to the service of our country; to honor the memory of every American, we should not stand for injustices no matter what kind; support and defend our constitution; let no politician, news agency; political leader or group chisel away our freedom no matter how unpopular at the time; when all Americans each and every day make it unacceptable to erode our freedoms and we are bound together like the fibers in the threads of our flag then we honor the memory of the sacrifices of every American past, past and future.

I was at work. Looking at the news on Yahoo. Suddenly came an article about a "small plane" that (apparently) had gone astray and crashed into one of the world trade centers. The problems quickly grew bigger. I worked for a government agency. Not knowing what was going on - other than the USA was under attack, we were all instructed to take any vehicle we could find and leave our offices and "spread out" everywhere over the City. If we got hit, the idea was, who ever was firing at us, could not get all of us. The public needed a working government to survive. We waited for about 2 hours, nothing more happened, so we went back to our offices... One scary day.

I will pause, and think of all of the fighting men and women, of our military service, and thank God they are protecting the people of Iraq and Afghanistan. I will also take a few seconds, and thank you for the faith you have in our society, Kimberly. God bless you, baby. Rock On!
Your Ryder

I am sorry for your loss and to those others that lost their lives that day. The time has past so quickly, so slowly and we must never forget this day!
I want to add a special thanks to all those who were hero's that day and to the hero's who are fighting terrorism around the world!

For the next 11 days, I'll avoid tall buildings and jumbo jets. And I'll pray for the souls lost in that horrible event; and for those who are left behind to grieve for them.
I'll also pray for divine justice on those who perpetrated this evil on the country.

I will spend the next 11 days wondering how a small group of money hungry politicians hoodwinked an entire nation into a phony war and wondering how 27% of our population can still be so ignorant.
