I have a cd and all. So how do I install it? When I try to install it while Windows I dont know what to do then. I have Windows Vista

Rather than installing it, why not set your computer to boot from a CD first, then when you want to use Ubuntu, just stick in the CD and you will boot into it.

It takes a bit of time to boot this way into Ubuntu, but is the easiest way to switch between Windows and Ubuntu.

If you are using XP, it would be easy. You just insert the CD, partition the hard disk, and install..


But on Vista it is a little complicated, even with installing XP with Vista. You can use this link to dual boot Vista with Ubuntu..
