Okay YA diet buddies you came through for me once lets do it again! I have lost 100 pounds since yule.....But now I seem to be having a problem with my sense of balance. It is as if my brain needs to reboot or something taking in the fact that all that weight is gone. Are there excersises or some type of sport I could go into to strengthen or reteach myself my own balance? Right now I have to be so mindful when I move so as to not lose my balance. The Doctor says that my inner ears are fine so it isn't a problem there. Any suggestions?

Ms Crone, you are trying to compensate for wieght that is no longer there. the BEST excercise you can do is to repeat those very motions that leave you feeling unbalanced until your body leanrs that it no longer HAS to compensate for that extra weight that no longer exists. In other words, you have to teach your body how to move at your NEW weight. It won't take as long as you think but you WILLL have to concientiously do it with puropose until it becomes natural for you again. By the way, GOOD job at losing all that weight, you should feel very proud of yourself. *hugs*

raji is right
i was once very over weight and that is no small feat for someone my height. i took up weight lifting but that doesn't work for everyone. i suggest that you do as raji suggests. other than that...you need to give it time...and all will be well....
blessed be you vixen you.....

I would try on a "bosu" ball (google it) you can also give yourself a core workout at the same time. Good for balance.
