I really wish I knew the fascination with it. All 5 of mine follow me in there and do everything from stare at me to jumping in my lap! Isn't it annoyingly adorable?

"Why are you peeing in my drinking fountain??? Wanna use my box? Your butt's too big, might be a problem. Where's it all go?? So cool, you pee in it, poop in it and it just swooshes away and my drinking fountain's all nice again. Maybe I should try dropping my catnip sockie in there to see if it'll go away. I want a new one... Why do you have fabric on? Where's your fur? Did the groomer cut it off? Are you too hot? Did you know you look funny all bald like that? Fluffy told me she watches her person sit on the fountain because she is waiting for it to eat her person up. She hopes she can catch her before she drops all the way in, cuz she can't get her food herself and who will feed her if her person disappears in the drinking fountain? I'd like to stick the dog in there and see if it disappears..."

OMG my male cat, 3 years old, does it all the time and if I close the door before he can make it in, he tries to break the door down, then just lies and waits until I'm done.

It is annoyingly adorable though.

Yes, both of my cats do this as well. They just kick back and relax. I'm not sure what the fascination is but it appears from the response to be quite common.

Sometimes all four of my cats will be in my small bathroom with me. I get the feeling they know they have a captive audience. Two of them have a fascination with the toilet being flushed.

My cats follow me into the bathroom every single time I use it, my son even tightened the lock and they still managed to push there way in. But they always run when the toilet gets flushed, it's hilarious, I wonder if they think the toilet might get me one day.

Very often at least one of them will.
There is also a litter tray in there and very often they get the need to go at the same time too.
I have had as many as 5 cats in there with me !

No! My kitties used to do that though! Well, only one of them did it, but whatever. He liked to lie down in peoples pants! lol!

My friend's cat ALWAYS follows you into there! It's so funny! And yes, that is annoyingly adorable!

Thanks for sharing your story with me!

ALL the time. He even likes to watch me shower which is totally creepy. Although it's really just the water dropping to the ground that turns him on!

I think the thing is to be a watch-out guy for the guy who is going because they don't want you to get caught with your pants down in case you all need to scram or something.
