1st gear is fine but doesn't shift from there. hey dodge man help!

the front band controlls 2nd gear. double check your adjustment.

there's a kick down cable on the factor of the transmission basically above the shift linkage if sticking or broken would grant you with this situation. or if examine engine easy on then situation with governor solenoid

If the pressure line to the cooler was installed in the wrong hole, it will not shift. It may be screwed into the pressure test hole for the kickdown band.

I might be wrong but it sounds like you have a valve stuck in the valve body. Check and be sure you have enough fluid while your at it.

did you replace the solenoids too.it sounds like your solenoids are acting up
