Well, if it's a perfectly healthy cat, there's no need to make it bigger! Some cats are just born smaller than others. You certainly don't want an overweight cat. Butputting more weight on a small cat that may not need any more weight may cause health problems. I don't think you want it fat, but I don't think you necessarily need to.!! Maybe get another cat that is bigger built, as long as you still love and take care of the cat you have.. :)

If she is a young, unspayed cat, I think it's normal for her to be on the skinny side. If she's very active, or an outdoor cat, she's going to be slim because she's burning a lot of calories compared to a most fixed indoor cats.
I had a friend with the same situation, only she had TWO skinny cats. Her cats were both rescued strays, young (around 6 months old) and about to be fixed, and they just ate and ate and never put on any weight. Turned out, her girl cat was actually already pregnant with one kitten, but showed no visible signs, and the boy cat actually had a tapeworm, which is a parasite that just keeps growing and growing if you don't get the pill for it from your vet. If you haven't asked the vet SPECIFICALLY about her weight, I would start there before trying "over the counter" remedies for whatever is wrong with her.
It might also be that the food you're feeding isn't giving her all the nutrition she needs. You could try something else, like a quality wet food or dry food with a higher fat and carb content than what you're feeding now.

Hi, it;s funny but my cat is the same she eats well but is as skinny as a rake. She doesn' appear to be unwell so we thought like you that she may need some of vitamin. So we visited the vet nurse to see if they sold any and she advised us that it is not advisable to give cats vitamins unless prescribed by a vet.
My cat has a heart murmer apparently it is quite common and this could be a reason for the fact that she doesn't put weight on. To be honest it would probably be a godd idea just to get your cat checked out at the vets. You never know she may even be diabetic, it;s not always easy for us to tell. But to be on the safe side, a trip to the vets will at least put your mind to rest.
Hope this helps. :)

make sure she is worm free and then maybe give her kitten food as that will help er gain some weight. but some cat are naturally thin without a reason just as humans differ in size.......
as she's been vet checked she is probably OK and really she should not need vitamins her food should provide all that she needs

She could have parasites or something else going on. Has she been vet checked yet? Vitamins won't help with weight gain.

I would buy a kitten milk replacer to help him gain weight. Feed him a quarter to half can of wet food mixed with some kitten milk replacer(NEVER cow milk) at least 2 times a day. For one of my really skinny cats, I feed them twice a day, plus a small saucer of KMR every night. Also, maybe think about buying a higher quality dry food. If you are really concerned, talk to your vet.

Assuming that the cat has been checked and wormed and tested for thyroid problems, and spayed.....you can give her Nutri-Cal, a gel/paste that has an increased amount of calories. Vitamins will not put on weight....you need calories for that.
The vet should have Nutri-Cal also.

If your cat is eating and not gaining weight then a trip to the vet for some bloodwork is in order.

does the vet think she is skinny? if so, did they give you any suggestions on how to put weight on her? did you ask? many people think that their pet is skinny when in all reality they aren't. cats and dogs are better off to be on the light side than the heavy side. this is not saying that they should be gaunt, but if they are heavy, they have many more health problems.
