I would go to another doctor. Then I would make sure my cats would be taken care of. My will allows for them to each get $1000 a year for the rest of their life for their care. I'd make sure my executress knows where everything is.

I would go skydiving. I'd then come home and call all the people I love.

Hi, Jessica,

Someone once asked St. Francis this question while he was out working in his garden. As I recall, he said he'd go on finishing his gardening, and perhaps feed the animals. In other words, he wouldn't do anything new or dramatic, because he was always ready to go to live forever with God.

On his deathbed, St. Francis continued to tell others about his life as a Christian by dictating his memories to one of the friars, who took down his words. Thus, he spent his final days passing on important messages of faith.

I hope I would have that kind of grace and peace.

Cheers,
Bruce

I would drop everything and run out into the world proclaiming Christ so that when I die and meet my savior's face I will know that I've talked to as many people as I could! God is good and greatly to be praised. I'd also request that they find the best preacher and have church and not a funeral. Ashes to ashes dust to dust get rid of my body and don't sit around crying over me because I will be in a better place. AMEN!

I personally would be happy. I would be returning home.
I would throw a Hugh party!!!!!! and invite all the people I know. Friends, family and enemies. Then I would invite anyone that had a beef with me etc to get it off their chest....let me have it!
Then I would ask for their forgiveness and tell them I love them.
Then we'd have a really good time at the party. Never mentioning the dieing part. This is how I would want them to remember me.

I have looked on the bottom of my feet and I never found an expiration date personally. Only God knows the days one has here on this earth. Even still our life Is as a vapor, compared to eternity.

Probably scream, shout, rage and break things. Then get a second opinion (just to be sure), then go out with my friends, try to forget for a night. Go see my family and sort my things, then split my remaining time between them, and going down to the river to escape it all for a little while. While I'm there write the goodbyes my family and friends deserve that I probably wouldn't be able to say.

Rather sobering question, but definitely a good one.

As a response to your first responder I would have to tell her that even Christians die!
However, if God did give me a head's up on the day of my departure, I would like to through one helluva going away party!
I'm not afraid to die, and I've made all the apologies that I need to already! So, for me, death is just another great adventure!

I would be really upset, because I like being alive.
I would round up all my family and friends and make them come on vacation with me somewhere awesome, so I could spend my last days with people I cared about in a place I've always wanted to visit.

It’s A Good Day to Die

I lift my hands unto the Great Spirit and worship him who has by himself created all things visible and invisible, who has blessed me with long life, who has set me upon my Mother among the Human Beings who respect his name and worship him with an unsoiled spirit and heart.

Many moons have passed and my memory flickers as a candle on a windy day that is ready to die out forever more.

I have seen unspeakable things that have been committed against the Human Beings, hard to be spoken, the cry of the young for their mothers, and mothers for their children that will never return unto to them ever again.

The wisdom of our Elders died with our old a helpless people that embraced those who traveled across the deep waters, they came with a split tongue killed our people and fed them to their dogs, covering our Mother with a heavy blanket, killing our buffalo for sport, our land is sacred!
Our Mother has nourished our fathers and our children and the creatures have given their life for meat and their coat to keep us warm.

They didn’t understand nor do they still understand the way of life, they despise the day of small things and raped our mother for gain and pleasure.

We must keep the decree of life and respect the land. Our Mother has been provoked and she will shake the heaviness that has been placed on her.

The blood of our children cries unto the Great Spirit. They cannot feel the fire of the heavens that nourished their existence and gave them their beauty.

Oh Great Spirit this is a good day to die, I’m weak but ye are strong keep me in the right path which my fathers have taken back to you, I humble myself to be accepted in your most sacred presences.
