Okay, bear with me, I'm trying to follow a chain of thought here.

Those who answered the first follow up, I left some comments....you may wish to edit to respond on that one.

Okay....there are a great many people who have claimed to have had some personal experience with aliens/spaceships/etc.

Do these accounts tend to make you more or less willing to believe in aliens (or don't have an effect)?

To Ron J:
You say you are "More willing to believe there is a possibility, because there have been to many sightings by people in various parts of the country and world seeing the same thing at approximately the same time. " Really? Please cite me the sightings which meet this criteria. I've never heard of such an appearance being worldwide and simultaneous.
You also say "I'm sure they did not call one another and say, "let's report an alien sighting"." Hmmm....the writers of the Bible ALL wrote the same thing, though they were separated by time and distance.

how is that different from your alien sightings?

To me these claims have no effect, because I won't believe the person making the claims if they can't show me evidence. And so far, noone has given me any reason to think aliens/spaceships have ever visited Earth or contacted humans.
But just because I'm skeptical that people have encountered aliens, that doesn't mean I think the chances of existing are less likely.

I suspect there is alien life out there in the universe somewhere (statistically it is feasible). However I doubt they're interested in us, and most of the personal experiences have been disproven (like "probes" and photos and videos) others are just too far fetched.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were other life-forms out there, but I don't personally believe in the little grey guys who abduct us from our beds in the middle of the night. And I've met many people who claim to have been abducted -- I've even met Whitley Streiber, author of "Communion".

i dont believe aliens actually visit earth because of the enormous distance that they have to travel.

yet i do believe that life on other planets exist, because i know one planet where life exists.
