You are partly right, but other reasons are older guys could make girls feel really cared for. They may seem smart and more mature than the guys their age.
Maybe they figure that older guys are better because they don't seem to give the girls a hard time. The older guys could be good listeners and that's what a girl wants.
I agree with you some what because older men could be using the young girls.
But younger men/boys may be harder for girls to figure out or they have already knock them out as immature people who only care about petty things.
And young girls want somebody who will most likely take them seriously, and most likely not mistreat them
To girls, (maybe of course), the chances of a older guy being their for them verses a younger (maybe) immature guy...the odds are the older guy would be better for them, in their eyes.
*shrugs
All I can say is girls need to be careful in what they're getting themselves in.

First off it sounds like you are the one having problems finding girls your own age...so by you're own statement that makes you just as much a "loser" as the older guys.
Next, it's not just the 15, 16, 17 yr old girls that go for older guys. Girls of all ages go for older guys mainly because they are sick of the guys their age that act 10 yrs younger. In other words, most girls find the guys their age to be way too immature for their tastes, so they find an older guy that is thus, more mature.
Like I said, this is common in girls whether they're 15 or 35.
Look at yourself in the mirror and consider how girls look at you. Do you act like a child around them? Chances are, you do. More than likely that's probably the cause as to why you are having a hard time finding a girl your age as opposed to claiming they are all dating older guys.

Yep. My sister dated a guy who was 25 when she was 16, my parents knew, and thought it was perfectly fine. (Even if I didn't.)
1)Teenage girls tend to like the "danger" of a "forbidden" relationship.
2) You run the same risk of a guy "only caring about you for your body" when dating a guy your own age. Older guys aren't necessarily less perverted, just less obvious about their perverted-ness . . .
3) Guys like to go out with younger girls because it makes them feel younger and/or "experienced" . . .
4) It takes guys longer to mature, that's the reason, in most cases, that a girl dates an older guy.
If you really want girls to start liking you instead of older guys, you should stop ranting about the unfair-ness of it all, put on your "big-boy pants" and grow up. (Another suggestion: Girls don't like boys who call them stupid . . . duh . . .)
And don't worry, it may seem unfair now, but eventually, everything comes full-circle. When you're older all the younger girls will throw themselves at you (whether you want them to or not). Just be patient, and remember what it's like to be the "younger" guy.

Because some young girls are naive and think a older guy will treat them better and be more mature. also they are attracted to the coolness of it, as they can brag to their friend and it makes them look cool and older.
theres so many reasons: cars, money, own place. fall for their charms and have crushes which they think is love.
makes them feel older.
basically they need to go for someone their own age and that way they wont get used that bad.
but then again a lot of couples who are genuine (very rare) are very happy and commited even if there is a age gap!
depends on the person!
and no me and my friends stick to our age range!

My mates (circa 22 - 29) who date teenage (legally) girls, I find are lacking in a lot of confidence. They are typically lads who like to win arguments and 'blow' someones mind away with what they've accomplished, because girls their age aren't actually that bothered - or are beyond their intellect. Or, there's the guy in his twenties who never had a girlfriend and is intimidated by his peers, so goes for the girl he should have dated. Either way - they are getting experience and the girl will find that going out with him, once she reaches university age is not as exciting as it once seemed. He gets his comeuppance and she has had her fun.
Its not really an issue is it? It'll probably be you in a few years?

Well the main reason girls go for older guys is because they are more mature. If the guys like a girl they won't be mean to her like some immature high schoolers.

It has been proven that MOST guys mature three years slower than women. 15 and 20 seems a bit much, because at 15 you're not even allowed to legally have sex yet but most women tend to seek a partner who is semi-older.

Generally, girls mature faster than boys. So, if a girl wants a 'mature' relationship she is more likely to find that maturity in an older guy.
