my husband will be in a school for the holidays will he get to come home for christmas ive heard yes and no so i am confused

There are 2 96 hour holidays back to back then. So usually about the 23rd they shut down and start again the 3rd of Jan. So he has a pretty good chance.

What school is he at?
Anyway, from my experience during the holidays there's what's called an "exodus", time off from the school for the holidays. Not for the students primarily but for the school staff/faculty. Usually around two weeks, starting a few days before Christmas and ending just after the new year. Since the staff will mostly be gone, the students get to take leave to do whatever they want for the two weeks.

Most military schools only close for the 24 and 25 so unless he is very close to you he most likely cant make it home for Christmas.

If it's at all possible, his unit will release him for the holidays !
Really though, it's between his CO and God, whether he will be home on Christmas.

Generally speaking, most military schools shut down for the holiday period -- keeping on only a skeleton crew.

He will have the opportunity to come home for the holidays. He will have to pay for the trip to and from training.

A school he should have one week or the other to come home.. on his dime. they typically do not allow them to take both weeks.
HOWEVER it can be denied if he is doing poorly in school or has gotten into trouble.
