I watched the Oprah show the other day, and I was impressed by how her audience took the money and were unselfish, some tipped pizza delivery men $300.00 each, one lady passed the money out to perfect strangers, another lady and her sister, raised over 71,000.00 for a family in need. It was amazing to watch these people change others lives. If I was given 1,000.00 to change the life of a perfect stranger I would raise more money in my community to double or triple that amount, I would purchase christmas gifts and distribute them to the less fortunate. I would contact the local catholic church and news media so if someone wanted to donate they would know how to contact me .

It certainly would depend on what the strangers needs are.
Education is a good help to someone who needs to make better money. A car for a single mom with children who needs to work and transportation to work to support them.
Training for a man who needs a job and tools.

here in is the subject nicely extremely it is your difficulty; you have listened to defective instructors and preachers. while you're a Christian then you definitely grew to grow to be one by the convicting ability of the Holy Spirit which you mandatory to ask for the forgiveness of your sins. those sins which you probably did in the physique in revolt against God. however the right of that record replaced into not asking for the Salvation of your soul. Now in case you probably did repent of your sins and ask for the forgiveness of your sins then by using faith in Christ's death burial and resurrection you have been cleansed of your sins! God gave you new raiment! by using fact of this at Easter new outfits replaced right into a prepare representing what Easter meant an substitute of your filthy rags of unrighteousness with the righteous outfits of Christ's vesture upon you. Then having been born of God you desire a 2d greater effective artwork that's called the baptism with the Holy Spirit, and the crucifying of the sinful nature interior of you so as which you will placed to death the works of the devil for that's what Christ got here to do - to ruin the devil's artwork in each physique that calls upon the call of the LORD.

A thousand dollars isn't a life changing amount of money.Instead of using it to help one person ,I'd find, maybe 10 people, that were down on their luck, through no fault of their own,and help them with the most urgent need they had.

It depends on what needs they have. Assuming they're with the majority of Americans and are overweight, I would probably hire a trainer for them. If they were in dire need of food, I wouldn't buy them a TV. I would just address their needs.
