God DID speak to Mother Theresa, once, when he told her to start her mission.
He has spoken to me, once. Even at the time, it did not occur to me that he was opening a dialog. There have been troubled times in my life when i could not feel my connection with God and i was so afraid that i had lost my faith even though i still believed in God. I have come to understand that "going through the motions" without the feelings is the very definition of Faith. So Mother Theresa never knew that she was the embodiment of Faith. I find it interesting that many of her doubts are expressed TO Jesus.
Regarding her possible sainthood, it has been predicted that she will be the patron saint of skeptics -- gotta love it!

I am of the opinion that religion can stagnate the soul.
When a soul doesn't progress in it's evolution through knowledge then a darkness descends upon it. Not necessarily the righteous works, but the true soul. A soul can continue to go through the motions (rites & rituals) of religiosity, but no light is found within the redundancy.
To answer your question, Yes. It all has to do with the stagnation of the soul. Feeling and being elightened does not leave the person with a sense of darkness in their soul.

It is impossible to judge exactly how "close" God was in His communication with Mother Teresa, so your question is unanswerable.
And in looking at your website, so what? Many great people have their doubts. We're HUMAN.
If you ask me, Mother Teresa having doubts just makes me feel better about the fact that we're just humans who are forgiven; we're not saints.

Mother Teresa like the rest of the human race had doubts about her believes. The most devout believers have doubts at one time or another. But our foot steps always turn on to his path when we hear His voice.

It looks like mama teresa was truly human after all. And she apparently was more in touch with reality than people who think that god is always chatting them up.

"A book of letters written by Mother Teresa of Calcutta reveals for the first time that she was deeply tormented about her faith and suffered periods of doubt about God."
So the story is that she was a human being? i mean, even Jesus had doubts ("My Go My God why has thou forsaken me" & the agony in the garden.)

No, homosexuality is sinful and God will never accept sin. God will never accept sin because sin separates the sinner from God. As a result, the sinner may never know who God is.

I have no way of knowing how closely God communicates with anyone else since He hasn't communicated that to me or how closely anyone else has been listening to Him.

God will communicate with the saved. She was unsaved, because she had a false gospel of works.

No, never. I read the article when it first hit, and I find this to be more evidence in a growing pile of testimonies as to the non-existence of God.
