He runs around all day, attacking and biting his sisters, and knocking things over (like table lamps, picture frames, vases,
glassware, etc), and I can't get him to stop. He also likes to jump on top of everything. What should I do? I love the little guy, but he's becoming a nuisance. He also cries a lot.

Forgive me for not mentioning it until after three people answered, but he is neutered.

He's still a kitten, give him some time. He will calm down. If he's not fixed, you may want to look into that as well...

First of all, he is old enough to be neutered. That is really the first step. He will calm down, and also be a much nicer cat to have around the house. This needs to be done quite soon, or you can run into spraying problems when his hormones kick in. For part of your description, some of that may be happening already, as relates to his crying.

As far as jumping on top of things and pushing things off (known as gravity experiments), that is the nature of kittens.

Without seeing for myself, the attacking and biting of his sisters may simply be play. Kittens can play rather rough, as they are learning survival skills should they be needed. I referred to having KWF in the house (Kitty Wrestling Federation) with my two females, and now at age four, there is still a small amount of that happening.

He is being a typical 51/2 month kitten! Relax, he will outgrow most of this as he ages, and his energy level is decreased some. When he is old enough (ask your vet) he should be neutered. Hope this helps.
