I have seen this story earlier this year, it wasn't a joke and certainly this question (in response to one answer) is not aimed at causing trouble.
There was a mention of it in a Chat with Robin Miller on SpeedTV.com back in June.
It is going to depend on how modestly they could/would brand a car, and with the way things are going for Champ Car it depends if there remains a league to get involved with.

The interest from AVN is legitimate, but I doubt it will come to fruition. A lot of people in and around Champ Car have expressed some reservations about this particular sponsorship, and Champ Car will not allow it if they think it will do more harm than good.

Not sure if this particular story is true or not but i do know that Playboy is a sponser in the Rolex series and Hustler is a sponser in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series. So I do not think it would be out of the question.
