I am sure it is not you. It is a cats personality. As they get older, they change. My kitten use to scream if I was in any room but where he was. He will now leave me, but sometimes he will still yell for me when I am not where he wants me to be. He strayed out into knowing I will still be there. He wants to investigate where he can. I don't let my cat sleep with me anymore as he ate my pajamas. He eats everything! I have to shut the bathroom doors and watch him. He even ate my throw pillows on my couch. He tries to eat the fridge. He gets sick when he actually eats something I couldn't stop him from eating.
As your cat gets older, she is more comfortable being away from you, it is not something you did. She is just comfortable and knows you will come back. She won't be alone.

Here are some reasons that she may have changed her habits.
If she is an older cat she may have a harder time getting on and off the bed.
Has the temperature changed in your room because of air conditioning or a fan?
Have you used air freshener in the room?
Are you keeping the TV on at night? She may not like the noise.
If she is not acting ill and none of the above apply, she may have just changed routines.

Need to know how old she is. Cats are, of course, solitary creatures. Thus we should be grateful for the time they spend with us and not rue the time they don't. However, we should always be, as you are now, alert to changes in their behavior. If the cat is older 10+, there is a good chance this is normal as they revert to their basic selves.
However, if the cat is younger, I'd seek out a vet if this behavior continues, he/she may be suffering. But, assuming the cat's other signs, eating, drinking, toilet, are healthy, it may just be a mood.

if you havnt done anything, gone away on holiday for a bit, feed her different food, stop giving treats or anything at all different,
then it could be shes simply decided to be this way, she probably still loves you as she still sleeps with you but cats are fickle and who knows what goes on in their strange minds sometimes
my cat although i left my door open for years always wanted into my brothers room who never left his door open, he just hated not being able to get in where he wanted and would annoy my bro all night meowing and scratching at his door
my cat would also sleep in the living room despite my door being open, and i left it open for him and no other reason, but he came down when he felt like it
its a choice and as long as you give her the choice she'll love you anyway
just give her some love, spend a bit of time with her, play with her and give her a few treats, maybe even teach her some tricks, they do like playing and will find that fun sometimes and keep your door open, cos she will come back when she wants to and as long as she knows she can, she will .

Sorry to hear all that. You don't say how old she is, or how long she's been like it. I've really no idea (I'm not a vet) though I am a cat-lover. Could be diet, or weather, or rheumatism (if old). We had a cat who lived to 20, who slowly lost her hearing and eyesight - but still very loving when around us.

are u giving her attention? is her litter box cleaned every day? does she have enough food and water? does she have fun toys to play with? if the answer is no to those questions, that might be the thing. if thats not the case, its normal. kitty's growing up. she cant just follow you around all day. adult cats sleep 2/3 of the day
