Why is it that when science proves something from Christianity to be true, that Christians shout it from the rooftops and post it all over their websites etc. yet when science proves that something from Christianity is wrong or false that the evidence is attacked/denied/ignored...?

Science is at best guess work. There are so many of them and all of them have different opinions how do you know if they are telling the truth or just trying to make money. The teaching of evolution is a billion dollar industry. Do you really think all the scientists today are going to come out and say its wrong, what would they do for a living. In my opinion the Bible is correct, and thats the only way to get to heaven. If we admit to Jesus that we are a sinner, confess our sins before him, and believe in our hearts that he was raised from the dead as a perfect sacrifice for our sins, all we have to do is ask him to come into our hearts and save us. If we Pray this with a sincere heart he will save us...... Then it won't matter what science says.

Because it is dependent on what you call "proof". For example, you would say that because science has "proven" that some fossils are MILLIONS of years old, that means that the world CANNOT be only thousands of years old, as some Christians believe.....and yet the following article specifically says that in order to date fossils, ASSUMPTIONS have to be made.
ASSUMPTIONS do NOT qualify as proof.

These techniques, unlike carbon dating, mostly use the relative concentrations of parent and daughter products in radioactive decay chains. Science has never proved something from Christianity to be true. Science, and Archeology often confirm things that might be found in the bible. Christians extrapolate this into "therefore Christianity is true" with some very poor reasoning.
