If you use it a lot leave it in the pantry. If it is seldom eaten, refrigerate.

It depends on how fast you will use it up. I always have it in the house but I'm not a big user of it. I once bought a big jar and only used it once or twice and the next time I went to use it it had gone rancid. So now I have a small jar I fill and keep out and keep the rest in the fridge.

It's not necessary to refrigerate peanut butter, after opening.

It depends. If it does it will say so on the label. The average peanut butter does not, although there are some organic and other natural brands you do need to refridgerate because of the lack of preservatives, etc.

no. You can leave it in the pantry or a cabinet, but cold peanut butter is yummy, especially on Oreos

You do not have to refrigerate peanut butter, but I do, because the idea of bacteria growing in that warm, fuzzy place between the pb and the lid just sort of skeeves me out.

You can leave it in the pantry; if you put it in the fridge, it will just make it hard to spread. It will stay just fine in the pantry.

YOu dont have too. It wont hurt. But if you do refrigerate, let it sit at room temp. for a few minutes, otherwise it will be hard to spread.
