Security forces is not an mos, it is a temp billet just like recruiting, mct instructor, and DI. There is no guarantee to get in a non deployable mos. All mos's are needed in war.
So try a B billet

ok, right that's the thin. The military and Marines are the expeditionary rigidity (human beings tend to think of of the Marines as a branch even however they're a branch of the army) . There interest is to circulate out and take the enemy components. The military will start up with aerial and sea bombardments whilst the Marines will over take compounds, development and shape. Your Marines are the boots on group form of human beings. the army and Air rigidity or extra of a policing faction these days. military and Air rigidity workers extra or much less watch over the components that have been taken over and root out the rebellious nature that would linger interior the section. yet with that being reported the two branch can do what the different does. IE the army sending troops to Iraq and Afghanistan to assist help the army

All MOS can be deployed, especially in the Marines. While there are some jobs that are less likely, with the ops tempo that the military is currently trying to support, everyone knows they must be ready to go. Anyone wanting to join the military but wants to find a way to do so without deploying should look for another job...deploying is part of military life.

no such thing as a non deployable MOS. while there might be UNITS or commands that do not deploy, every single individual in the Military can be deployed. and yes, even if you are in one of those 'non deployable' units. you can be tasked as an individual to go.

If you want to join the military and not have to deploy, good luck. I only know of a few career fields where you may not have to deploy, but those are in the AF. My best advice, if you're planning to join the military, get accustomed to baking in the hot sun and breathing sand up your nose.

Nope. All marines are deployable. Unless of course you want him to get busted for being a conscientious objector. If the Commandant wants them to deploy, then they deploy, it is as simple as that.

No such thing as a "non deployable" MOS. Maybe non-deployable units, but all you can do is hope to get in one of those.

Members of the Marine Corps Band at Marine Barracks, Eight and Eye Streets in Washington, D.C. That's the only ones I can think of. But, you have to audition to be accepted into that organization before you enlist.

Bill is correct, didn't they tell you that everyone is an 0311, regardless of your primary. You can always become a rifleman in an instant. I had a friend who was "air" but when he got to Vietnam he was a grunt for 13 months.

No.

Even if there was, every Soldier, Sailor, Aiman and Marine will deploy sometime within their military career.

If you don't like that, don't sign up and/or don't marry one.
