short term:For next day help: Cetaphil face wash( because it doesn't dry your skin out) but it real is tough on zits.

long term:The other thing that help me when I was a teen was I use Nature Cure's tablets all year round. You take them 2x a day and they are all natural (not hormones) and the zits and acne never come out unless you forget to take it. I stopped using them because I though I was over the age of acne(because they are so good I didn't have them for ages)... well I was wrong...I had to restart over again a couple time... it takes about a month to fully take effect. Now I finally grown out of the acne and zits(so I'm not using the tablets) with the exceptional few before dates and that when I use the wash.

i would have to say that soap and water is what works the best. The other face washes dry out your skin, and create much more issues then just the zits

I use clearasil, works pretty well. But yes, creams can cause dry skin if you don't use them right, and thats not good. You also might want to make sure you're not allergic to the soap your have at home or anything, because I had some soap that gave me these bad rashes on my hands.

Proavtive & Cetaphil have both worked really well for me.

You can order Proactive when you see the commercial, and you can pick up Cetaphil at Target.
