10 years ago, I never heard of chipolte flavoring...then we had a Dave and Busters come to our area and that is when I discovered the "grilled chicken chipolte salad" (before I became a vegan) and I fell in love with the chipolte dressing and started looking for it...I have loved it for at least 6 years now...anyway, Now I see Chipolte everywhere. How did this happen? And btw...what is the best chipolte dressing on the market right now and where can I buy it?

Chipotle flavoring is awesome...I discovered it a few years ago myself and I was in love! I'm not sure if there are any chipotle dressings on the market, but I make my own.

First get a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix...prepare according to the directions on the packet. Meanwhile, get a can or two of Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce (look in the Ethnic section of your grocery store). Remove several peppers from the can. De-vein, seed and chop the peppers. Use as many or as few as you like, the more you use, the hotter your dressing will be. Spoon several tablespoons(to spice tolerance) of the Adobo Sauce from the can into the ranch dressing. Add one teaspoon of garlic powder and 3/4 teaspoon of paprika into the mixture. Add in the chopped peppers and a dash of tabasco to taste. Voila! Spicy Chipotle Ranch Dressing!
* To mix it up, make the Ranch Dressing mix as a dip rather than a dressing. Serve the dip with Fritos or warm Tortilla Chips.

Based on ice cream consumption figures, the top five individual flavors in terms of share of segment in the United States are: vanilla (26%), chocolate (12.9%) neapolitan (4.8%) strawberry (4.3%) cookies n' cream (4.0%) and I love chocolate icecream from the limited choices given. If there were other choices I would have selected some other flavour. However, in most regular restaurants the choice you are given are very limited and it would be the 3 flavours you have given so I think you did good. There are too many flavours and variations (like personalities) so the 3 basic classic ones are a good idea. However, the chocolate personality did not match mine. I am not reserved, very chatty, open, friendly, outgoing, yes, love art, not sure about Indie Rock.

A study by the university of lincoln concluded that countries with a hotter climate have more spices in them.
Why does this matter? Its just one of many reasons of why the USA is getting spicer. The warmer is just one factor. HOWEVER, the real main reason is the influx of immigrants here. As more and more latinos settle here, they bring their spices too, such as Chipolte sauce. Also, people from asia are bringing the heat as well, bringing spices from there. There are also countless smaller things that contribute to this, but I have shown the main reasons.

supply and demand... If there is a market for chipotle, does very well and makes businesses richer, of course it's going to be everywhere. As soon as it dies down, they will move onto something else. I don't know the best dressing on the market but I know the best BBQ Sauce to use... Bull's Eye BBQ Sauce Smokin' Chipotle... God it's so awesome. They stopped selling it at the supermarket I go to and it really pissed me off!

Yes, I have noticed, it's a lot like the the Jamaican Jerk craze of about 10 years ago, which somehow seemed to coincide with my trip to Jamaica. Ironically, I don't think I had heard of it before that trip, and within a year or too, it seemed to be everywhere.

I credit peoples' broadening of their horizons, as well as an increase in immigration from Mexico and Central America.

It's called Marketing.

It has to do with manufacturers trying to be "new and creative" in order to draw people to their products. Of course, the other food makers jump into the market since they don't want to be left in the dust.

Previous crazes...

Sour Cream and Onion
BBQ flavored
Honey Mustard
Buffalo Sauce
Ranch

I've been noticing the same thing! It's everywhere! I've never eaten it with chicken because of my vegetarian lifestyle, but its super good with chips! It's so ironic how when something goes over well, it's everywhere!

Every so often some food becomes the new "IT FOOD". At one point it was sundried tomatoes. It could be anything ten years down the road.
