Got the idea from another question and wanted to do a little experiment to see how you'll answer.. IF you'll answer..

1) What is the Mansookh, and what does it teach?
2) What do you believe must happen to the Jews before the resurrection of the dead can take place?

Here's a third one for you.. I keep asking this and nobody wants to respond.. Please tell me the story of the Satanic verses that Muhammad mistakingly thought came from Allah.. And tell me about the verses he altered because his followers complained that they sounded too Pagan.

I guess that's four questions.

Silent_angel, you are wrong. The Quran HAS changed, and quite a bit. One of Muhammad's "revelations" was eaten by a goat before it could even be added to the Quran. Aside from that, part of the text reads:

" Have ye thought upon al-Lat and al-Uzza
And Manat, the third, the other?" (53:19,20)

This was originally followed by:

" These are the exalted cranes (intermediaries) Whose intercession is to be hoped for."

But the last part was later edited out because Muhammad decided he made an oopsie and accidentally heard from Satan instead of "Allah" (which are really one and the same).

Good luck getting an answer.

When the facts are against the religion expect to be ignored.

Unfortunately for those pretending Islam is tolerant and peaceful we can read your Qur'an and hadith. Both show otherwise.

Not a Muslim but I know that mansookh means that a verse in the quran has been abrogated (canceled, annulled, treat as non-existent) by another verse. allah changes his mind a lot!

I know that islamic prophesy is to kill all the remaining Jews and have a war with the Christians. allah will destroy Israel and all non-Muslim countries. So I believe the resurrection of the dead happens when all the Jews are dead. Nice, huh?

EDIT: quran 2:106. "Whatever a Verse (revelation) do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar to it. Know you not that Allâh is able to do all things?" This is from the quran! This is not made up by scholars who do not understand the quran.

God Bless.

1. No idea

2. Nothing. Only the earlier Jews that defied the Torah scripture of the coming prophet Jesus & Muhammad (not from their ethnic) has to deal will God. The rst of the Jews & today has nothing to do with the word defiant. Not their fault.

3. It's all from Angel Gabriel. God did not directly spoke to Muhamad (PBUH).

Salman Rushdie is just a victim of irrational human fatwas & rules in Pakistan/India.

4. Sounds like pagans? The only Holy book that God had verses described Himself is AlQuran.

Now, if you were Muhammad, how did you put that in sentences (as to ensure the verses does not sound like pagan)

Therefore it must sounds good when recite, concise & don't forget to give a title for it.

Once you finished yours, please compare with the verses (as we Muslims believe its God's compositions) in the AlQuran
at verses which God described Himself.

Surah Al Ikhlas 112:001, 112:002, 112:003 & 112:004
So, take the challenge & make comparison. (If you have the guts to challenge God's words)

1) The concept of "Mansook" was invented originally by some of scholars, claims that there are some verses in the Quran that have been abrogated and invalidated by other verses! The verse that is the abrogator they call (Al-Nasekh) while the abrogated verse they call (Al-Mansoukh).

These scholars have come up with hundreds of cases of abrogated verses to the extent that they have formulated a whole science of the subject filling lengthy books and references.

Although the concept was originally invented by Muslim scholars as a result of their poor understanding of the Quran, yet it has been widely exploited by non-Muslim writers to tarnish the perfection and divinity of the book.

2) Jews are just like all other people regarding the concept of resurrection of the dead. Nothing special for the Jews will take place in this.

3)One of the major events of 1989 was the Salman Rushdie affair. For six solid weeks Rushdie and his book were in the headlines of all newspapers, TV and radio news, throughout the world. When I heard this news in Turkey, the first thing that came to my mind was Rashad and his new translation of the Quran, and the stunning discovery of the two satanic verses 9:128 -129. In one of our Quranic studies in Istanbul, I told the believers that there is definitely a divine plan here, and a definitely symbolic connection between Rashad and Rushdie. Both names have the same root which is mentioned in the Quran 19 times. Both Salman Rushdie and Rashad Khalifa have the same number of letters in their names, both in English (13 letters each) and in Arabic (9 letters each). The title of Rushdie's book (Satanic Verses) has been the main subject of research by Rashad since 1985. (Rashad published that 9:128-129 are Satanic Verses in the MUSLIM PERSPECTIVE of March 1985).

Edit: don't know why all of these thumbs down!!! I am just answering your questions.
Anyway, If you need more information about these matters, I can suggest the website:http://www.submission.org/

Peace.
