Unbelievers get irritated at religious people going from door to door preaching the word of God, but religious people are supposed to step back and let the unbelievers take over a religion section and try to convert believers by showing supposed contradictions in the bible?

Unbelievers = Total Hypocrisy

Biblical contradictions, errors and inconsistencies have been answered correctly since the second century. Why do you unbelievers keep ignoring these answers and keep asking the same worn out questions?

Why do you feel the desire to point out these errors in the bible to the christian people?

I think unbelievers are disgruntled individuals. How do I know this? Because they act like "Hey, Look!! I found an error!!! God does not exist" lol

Why do unbelievers feel the need to point our all the supposed errors in evolution. Are they trying to convert believers, Evolution errors and inconsistencies have been answered correctly and proved yet Christians keep asking the same worn out questions. I think Christians are disgruntled individuals, How do I know this? Because they see the proof and close their eyes and ears and say " I'm not listening, I'm not listening, evolution is not true."

There is a difference between intruding into someone's personal space, and discussing things in an open forum.

If there is a rule in the terms of service that says this section if for "believers only" than I would like to see it.

Otherwise, the "unbelievers" (I dislike that term) have just as much right to be hear as anyone else.

If you don't like to hear contrary viewpoints, there are closed forums on the internet, that only let people post, if they sign a statement of faith, and they kick anyone out, who doesn't tow the official theological line of that particular website.

Everyone is free to find a SUPPORT community if they wish. This is an open forum, build a bridge and get over it.

Well, it's a defense, isn't it? It's a response to the repeated comments of "I hope they see the truth before it's too late" or the exclusionary concept of one group of people being saved over everyone else, because...well, everyone else is wrong. it gets repeated way too many times by fundies on R&S. No, most athiests or agnostics aren't disgruntled..."skeptical" is more accurate. Ilustrating errors is just a way of asking "why", so if you can't answer that - and truly answer without quoting text - then I can understand your frustration. Your "unbelievers" could care less about conversion, unless you're trying to convert them.

So to the point, why do people point out errors? Because it's easy to point to obvious things. Obvious to you? Maybe not....

If a person knocks on somebodies door, uninvited, and starts preaching to them then that is an invasion. If someone, of their own freewill, enters a website that is set up for open and free debate on religion then they had better be willing to accept opinions that they do not agree with.

If you only want to be around people who think like you do then go find a religious website that is specifically for that purpose.

Second - religious contradictions have not been correctly answered since the 2nd century. Religious people just killed anybody who questioned their bible.

BS.

Biblical contradictions have been EXCUSED and WAVED AWAY since the second century. And we keep asking the questions because you guys keep delivering so many different answers.

We point out the errors and contradictions to point out the fact that your "inerrant" holy book isn't "inerrant" at all. If your book isn't "inerrant", then your faith is built on much less stable foundations than you like to imagine.

As for hypocrasy, perhaps you should look around at your own church history before you start slinging that one around.

To my knowledge, no atheist has ever gone door to door pointing out the obvious stupidities in the bible. But maybe we should.

Many of us point out errors in the bible because we're concerned that our society is increasingly controlled by people who think it should be taken seriously. And it shouldn't. It isn't just nonsense. It's obvious nonsense. It doesn't just contain a falsehood here and there. It contains glaring falsehoods on every page. Also, many Christians seem not to be aware of what's in it, and someone ought to point out to them what they've chosen to devote their lives to.

For my part, I wish people would spend more time reading the bible. America needs more atheists, and nothing will turn you into an atheist faster than reading the bible and paying attention.

Nice baiting. We like the truth more than you, obviously. We aren't selling a bill of goods, we are showing the reasons why the Bible should not be believed. Many Christians have not even read their Bible and have not heard that there are lies and inconsistencies in it. I think they should know. Why would anyone want to believe lies? But you continue to do it, so be it.

a. We don't want to "convert" you.
b. We find your explanations unsatisfactory and contradictory.
c. We find that many christians have NOT read the bible, don't really know the history of their own religion, and find the truth to be disconcerting as well.
d. Why are you ranting at us? Is it because you were called out by two people because you have no clue what the big bang really is?

Because your God is supposed to be perfect and errors and nonsense in his supposed word proves either your god had nothing to do with the bible and/or he is far from perfect.
Sorry, I am not interested in your imperfect, non-sensical god.

Here is a list of 388 contradictions in the bible

I await your correct answeres with baited breath.
The reason I point them out is to show that the bible cannot possibly be the word of an infallible god when there are so many mistakes in it.
