It will be English. Christ! Are we not entitled to decide ANYTHING our own country!! We speak English and if immigrants want to communicate effectively, even 10 years from now, they will too.

English will be the dominant language, but we probably still won't have an actual official language. The children of Hispanic immigrants almost all are bilingual, but speak primarily English. Their grandchildren are mostly people who speak very little Spanish. Spanish will no more take over the American Southwest than German took over the American midwest in the late 1800's or Italian took over New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Rhode Island in the early 1900's.

Ten years from now children will probably be required to take Spanish and be able to speak it well.

I think we will still have no official language by law. I think that we will still primarily use English as our language of commerce, though Spanish will gain ground in its use in commerce.

There never has been an official language! In 50 years, however, when America is 70% brown-skinned people walking around and controlling govt. then maybe Spanish but hopefully not.

If any, English. Most people here of non-European ethnicity want that too, look at how they voted in Florida and Arizona.

It better be English!!! What is this country coming too? We already have it bad due to the terrorist threats and fears! Now this? What's next? I'm moving to Ireland!
