How do you keep your music job without getting fired??

Same way you keep any job you want to keep - show up on time, keep sick days to a minimum, be friendly and enthusiastic, be sure to do the job required and be sure to do it accurately and within a timely fashion, don't abuse company resources like the internet or the telephone, and read and follow the company guidelines or handbook. It doesn't hurt to go the 'extra mile' being helpful and asking to take on additional responsibilities or tasks, if you can handle them.
