I am not a atheist. I'm christian and I hope they do turn to God. But they should turn to him without a miraculous sign. Nice question btw. God Bless

Why do so many people pray and they die anyway? Why didn't Jesus cure all afflicted people? I'm sure of all the miracles stated in the bible it would seem that Jesus could heal everyone.
I don't like you 'stubborn Jews' comment. Jesus WAS a JEW or do people keep forgetting that. He came to reform Judaism not to create a new religion. Take a few theology courses and you might find this out. Why would Jesus favor one person over another is my question? It happens all the time which makes me doubt that he or any other spiritual ancestor is there to 'deliver' us. If that was so then no one would be sick/dying/suffering etc.

If I saw a miracle then absolutely I would believe, the problem is nobody has ever performed a miracle, and Jesus is dead.
I also would have to have a vey skeptical viewpoint about the whole thing I mean look at al the fakers out there. Everybody that believes so fervantly about religion is trying to convince everybody that it's true and they will go to any length to do it even if it's dishonest. They have good intentions and they believe that they are doing the right thing, but their beliefs are just plain wrong.
Until he either comes back or someone else comes that can prove to me that there is something else besides brainwashing in religion then I would have to say that I choose freewill.

There's insufficient evidence for the existence of Jesus. If he did exist whatever so-called miracles he performed would be easily explained today, in a world not solely based on superstition.
God(s) come across as a thoroughly malevolent man-made creations. The world would certainly be a safer place without the evil, bloodshed, and wars caused by religious followersin the name of their particular god.

I've seen David Copperfield do some pretty amazing things over the years, too, plus Doug Henning, and the Amazing Randi, whom I doubt is divine. How would I know that the character presenting himself to me as Jesus is who he says he is an not some charlatan-illusionist-conman?? As Arthur C. Clarke said, "No advanced technology is distinguishable from magic." Are you familiar with the Star Trek Next Generation known as "Devil's Due"? It featured a high-tech magician using tricks to pose as the devil and scare a frightened people. Regardless of what "Jesus" ever showed me, I can rightfully question it. Nothing can make me believe what I don't believe.

I am not an athiest. If Jesus healed someone in front of me, I would tell him how much I loved him for doing that. I would however be waiting for the other shoe to drop, wondering if he was gonna be like he was 2000 years ago, turning into a Mr Hyde. He was a spiritual terrorist at times then. Perhaps we would have a discussion about that stuff, see if he had grown up a little since then!
Healing be unto you and yours and me and mine

Do I smell a hint of Anti-Semiteism (That isn't a word is it)?
It depends if the Miracles were done in a scientific manner, such as confirming that the person is dead or that the women has cancer and so on. If their is actual evidence then yes I would believe in God, would I worship him? No as he is a dictator.

I might believe it, but there are people on this earth today who portray themselves as healers. They claim that they have healed people of cancers, and it always turns out to be a lie. Right now, the Catholic Church is trying to canonize Mother Teresa as a saint by saying that a beam of light shot out of a picture of her and healed some woman of a cancerous tumor. Believe me, I would be very skeptical.

It is impossible to bring a dead person back to life. Cancer is being healed--NOT cured mind you--every single day by doctors.
But if I saw somebody bring a dead person back to life, I would have to believe it. I'm not on drugs, so I know I wouldn't be hallucinating. I still wouldn't fall on my knees and worship God. He's not worth my adulation.

I don't think you should see it as similar to the Jews. The Jews are still God's Chosen people and do believe in the same God as we do. Atheists are deniers of any Higher Power and chose to not see an afterlife.

"sorry for being a little disrespectful to the Jews..." It's obvious you are not sorry so why bother saying that?
So you think I'm stubborn because I don't believe what you do....you know what, I think YOU are stubborn for not believing what I do....so who's right?
