I have never had a 3 week cold before! Your average cold doesn't take 3 weeks to go away! It's usually 2-14 days depending on the bug that got ya. 7 days is usually the maximum time for me. It's too late now, but next time you feel the symptoms of a cold coming on, try taking Zinc. It's supposed to cut the duration of the cold in half. Says science anyway... For now, just rest rest rest and blow your nose as much as possible. And drink hot liquids.

he would be fantastic, please do no longer squirt water in there. the element approximately colds is they are oftentimes a virulent disease, only like with people. The vet probable won't have the means to do plenty different than prescribe antibiotics. those won't even handle the chilly he already has, they're going to easily ward off secondary bacterial infections from settling in. i understand that isn't any longer relaxing to observe yet think of of it this way, if he continues to be ingesting he can't be too filled up :) maximum cats won't consume in the event that they are too filled up as they won't consume what they could't scent. sturdy success! you're doing each and all the suited suited issues..

I asked a doctor how long it takes to get rid of a cold. He said it's three weeks WITH medication and three weeks WITHOUT medication. Medication just keeps it from getting worse.

I've read that chicken soup really DOES help as do drinking a lot of fluids and taking Vitamin C. The best thing to do from now on is prevention.

unfortunately colds kind of have to run their course, but you can help by sleeping as much as possible, lying low in general, and drinking lots of fluids.
