I'm doing a geneology research on an ancestor from Hummersen, Kreis Richenau, Lippe Detmold, Germany. How can I find an address or email to retrieve any possible vital records?

I think the best possibility to find what you are looking for will be church books. Since Kreis Rischenau doesn´t exist anymore, Hummersen is a part of Landkreis Lippe nowadays. Unfortunately that region is extremely split between the christian confessions. So you should look on the web for:

kath. Kirchengemeinde Luegde

ev.-luth. Kirchengemeinde Luegde

ev.-ref. Kirchengemeinde Schwalenberg

You will find the addresses of the parishes, and even a link to a genealogic society of Lippe-Detmold, whose site has got an English text. This might be most interesting for you.
And so I can give you the address of the local catholic church of Hummersen:

Katholische Kirchengemeinde
Falkenhagen
Mittlere Str. 22
32676 Luegde

Good luck!

Ask your mother and father. They will have a replica filled someplace at house. Contact the Army as they will have to recognize wherein the entire sanatorium documents went. (But so they can simply get you a start list, now not an reputable start certificates.) Contact the German state wherein you had been born. Birth certificate are frequently filed with the civilian corporations despite the fact that you had been born on a army base. (Example, individual born on the US Navy Guam has to write down the civilian documents division for the Island of Guam.)
