Yes, because they were on the winning side!
Put it this way - in WW1, the Allied forces were lead by a Frenchman. Would that make it solely a French victory?
In WW2, the Western Allies were lead by an American. While still pretty much the dominant power, would that mean the British Commonwealth, French, Polish, et all allies weren't victors?
Still, if they really did only make up 25% of the allied forces, they shouldn't be treated as if they were the one almighty dominant force

Yes, it is called a British victory because a British general, Wellington led it. Napolean by conquering most of Europe had made a lot of enemies, so when he failed to invade Russiaand was pushed back, the conquered contries like Austria and Prussia, now free sent troops to the allies to defeat Napolean. In truth, it was a European victory or a allied victory but the British general who led it, took credit for it.

Victory only became possible for the British because of the timely arrival of Blucher and the German Reserves, if he had not arrived when he did the battle was on the point of being turned in Napoleons favor.

I actual have discovered maximum British human beings to be particularly polite and quite exciting. i'm an American, the son of a Scotsman, and if there grew to become into ever a human beings to dislike the Brits, it is going to the two be a Scot or an Irishman. turning out to be up, I spent a minimum of at some point a week enjoying soccer with foreigners, because it grew to become into not a properly regular interest returned then. the ameliorations in our cultures clarify lots of ways we alter into attentive to them as such, yet once you get to understand the folk, you will discover they are somewhat a exciting loving bunch and make as lots exciting of themselves because of the fact the do others. that's extremely almost a British comical cultural situation. They make exciting of each and every others' prominent communities, lots as we do, yet their style of humor comes in the time of slightly "off" by our standards. So, basically attempt to realize our cultural ameliorations are what makes us see them because of the fact the "intense and effective, self-righteous assholes", (that and the reality that we beat them for our independence and many comprise nevertheless bitter approximately that.)

Yes. That is because the Yanks think that they won WW2 because they insisted that the second front was run by a Yank. Mind you they had more casualties because of their insistence as the prat had no proper experience of war.

What's the question here? Making a statement then putting a question mark at the end of it doesn't make for a coherant query.
