In WW2, the Western Allies were lead by an American. While still pretty much the dominant power, would that mean the British Commonwealth, French, Polish, et all allies weren't victors?
Still, if they really did only make up 25% of the allied forces, they shouldn't be treated as if they were the one almighty dominant force
