If it was Adam’s decision to disobey God that brought sin into the world, why do we ALL have to suffer punishment?
If we are honest with ourselves, we will realize that Adam is a fair representative for all of us. If a perfect person in a perfect place decided to disobey God’s rules, none of us would have done better. Romans 5:12 says, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” We all inherit Adam’s sin nature. We all sin, so we all deserve to die and suffer eternal punishment in hell. We must understand that not one of us is innocent before God. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Not one of us is worthy to stand before the Creator of the universe because we would each bring a sinful, rebellious nature into His presence.
In the beginning God completely sustained His creation without blemish. That’s why it was perfect. He held every atom together in a perfect state. He kept the planets in their orbits. He kept animals from tripping and breaking their necks. He did not allow people to suffer and die.
Deuteronomy 8:4 gives us a little glimpse of how things might have been in the original creation. “Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.” God is omnipotent and perfectly capable of sustaining and protecting his creation.
When Adam sinned, however, the Lord cursed the universe. In essence there was a change and along with that change God seemingly took away a little bit of his sustaining power and allowed things like suffering and death into His creation. Now He permits bad things to happen—and this is a reminder that sin has consequences and that the world needs a Savior. Romans 8:22 says, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”
God took pleasure in all of His creation ("http://bible.gospelcom.net/bible?passage=revelation+4:11&version=NKJV"), but He loved people most of all. He allowed the created universe to deteriorate so we would see the consequences of our sin. If we did not see the consequences of our sin, we would never see that we need salvation from our sin, and we would never accept His offer of mercy for our sin. Most people easily recognize that there is a problem in the world. This can be used to show them that there is one who has overcome this problem of death and suffering—Jesus Christ.

This Earth is not now, and I doubt it has ever been a paradise. The Earth has experienced numerous climate changes, some quite extreme. Whole species of plant and wild life have thrived then became extinct.

Humans cover the globe, many born in areas with limited natural resources or political strife which contributes to making their most basic survival difficult.

This is just the nature of things. We as humans posses the means to end a lot of the suffering which occurs today, we choose not to. Some pray and look to the heavens and expect divine intervention when intervening is our responsibility.

God did create the World. Since the first test with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, He has given the world over to Satan to let him try and see how many of God's Children(which includes all of us) can stay loyal. Life is always about tests and God has given us the ultimate one. To make it fair and to make sure it is not "rigged' toward Him, he allows Satan to rule earth and cause catastrophes and suffering. This way, He can see how those that truly believe in Him can react. However, He also gives you a great Hope and comfort by letting you know that this World won't last forever. And that when you do accept His Son, Jesus Christ, as your personal Savior, you are guaranteed a spot in Heaven. Satan rules the World(for now) but God is our hope and our Faith, if you just allow Him to be. Thanks for the question and have a great day!

People are the ones who create suffering and this is due to our sinful nature. We could, by God's grace, all life a perfect life if united to God. But that will never happen. Besides, God uses suffering to bring about the ultimate good. Just like the saying, "How do you know how victory feels unless you've felt defeat?"

He did not. Man was placed in a paradise and given the purpose of a job to do, namely expand the garden to cover the earth. He was given only one law, not to eat of one tree in the midst of hundreds. Man with Satan disobeyed willingly and started suffering by his own hand.

It was never God's purpose for suffering to occur. Immediately a way out for humans was put into motion. Jesus' coming to sacrifice his perfect life for ransom of mankind. In the near future, a cleansing of the earth of wickedness and restoring earth to the original purpose and paradise. That will mark the end of suffering of humans. Death will be no more. A resurrection of the dead will take place to that paradise made of the earth. What could be better?

God created the earth, perfect in every way possible but gives us the freedom of making our own decisions and choosing our own actions. We have created the suffering though.

He created this World for Adam and Eve. They were perfect, before Satan came along and caused sin. Its because of the devil, he loves destruction. God also brings people through trials and hardships to bring them closer to HIM.
