Technically, there is nothing you can eat or drink to restore your singing voice. The food or drink goes down your esophagus to your stomach. Your vocal folds are in your trachea (windpipe). Unless your epiglottis malfunctions and you choke, no drink will pass over those folds.
That being said, you can drink water to rehydrate your body. Dehydration can contribute to a sore throat. I would stay away from the citrus; the acid can lead to acid reflux, which CAN damage your voice. Healthy food and drink can make your body feel better, but there is no magic bullet here.
I have friends that use "throat coat tea" or slippery elm lozenges, but neither have worked for me. (And I really, really hate the taste). At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the only thing that restores a voice from overuse is vocal rest. Keep your mouth shut, (no singing, no talking, and especially no whispering) for a few days.

Please, please do not take advice from unqualified web advisers or wanna be singers who lack knowledge in laryngeal biomechanics. Their 18th century logic has no basis factually or biologically and will do you more damage. Firstly it depends what you with sick with. A cold or Influenza or Asthma? A cold is bacterial, influenza is viral, they are two different types of health problems. However you should not sing when you a sick. If you have a cold you will have mucosa problems and this will be bacteria within the larynx, pharynx and throat. If you have Flu this is muscular and you sing on a muscle so you you shouldn't be singing with flaccid muscles.. Give us more information and then we can help you. DO NOT i repeat Do Not drink too much when you sing as you will fill your bladder and your lungs cannot expand for full expellation or inhalation. Phlegm is bacterial covered mucous, do not swallow, spit it out and then gargle with antibacterial to clean your palate. Come back with more info please

I know most people would never believe this, but Airborne works like a charm. I've been doing productions all my life, and every time the leads start losing their voices, you'll see half the cast running around with boxes of Airborne. Just drop one in a bottle of water and it really does help.

I agree with Miss.Murder; drink plenty of water. No chilled water. Tap water is the best. I was told this by a speech therapist year before last when I suffered with "singer's throat". You can also add some lemon juice to the water for more flavor.

OJ will usually clear the voice, but if it is sore or dry, do not drink OJ but maybe some tea with honey
water will do, but it only takes effect after a long time

warm gingerale works best if your vocal chords are scratchy or sore....salt water irritates them more also nothing cold ...it causes your vocal chords to contract leaving them tight and minimalizing your vocal range
