No.
"We who are alive and remain shall be changed, in a moment, in the blink of an eye..." I Corinthians 15:51,52
Immediately before this, the dead shall be raised.
The Bible clearly teaches the resurrection of the dead, both of the righteous and the unrighteous. This is part of the first resurrection - the resurrection of the righteous. We will receive glorified, immortal bodies, like the resurrected body of the Lord Jesus Christ. The reason is we will be returning to rule and reign with Christ on the Earth, throughout the Millennial Reign of His Kingdom on Earth. At that time the Scripture will be fulfilled which says: "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth." (Matthew 5:5)

No, our physical bodies will be taken, but they will be transformed. Check out the first link below for a verse-by-verse look at what the Bible says about the events leading to and including the rapture itself.

When the Rapture happens, the physical bodies rise to heaven, so we'll appear as disappeared on earth. We get new bodies sometime afterward.

I personally don't believe in the Rapture. But accordingly, isn't the body suppose to rise from the earth and meet Jesus somewhere in the sky?

This so-called "secret rapture" is a lie of Satan. The devil has done an effective job of confusing people as to what the Bible really says!
It is NOT a Biblical truth. Here IS the Biblical truth!........http://www.ucg.org/reprints/pdf/Rapturereprint.pdf

The "rapture" has already occurred, in the world of thought, not the physical one. Those who will be "left behind" are those still looking back to understand the divine. The 'return of the christ' will be when those who profess to follow him start walking his words.

For those on Judgment Day who go with God, their spirits will go, yes... their bodies however... will disappear, as my Bible teacher from school says... those who are left on the earth, are due to eternal punishment, in Hell.

Doesn;t the Bible say we will all be changed, in the twinkling of an eye, if we are changed like elijah or enoch they will be no body left. Did Jesus leave a body in the tomb. No he didnot.
