I believe in a higher power. I question Christianity because, 1: People who claim to be Christians are actually beasts and act the complete opposite from the ideal Christian
2: They say he's a vengeful God, but why be scared into wielding a Bible around? Like Martin Luther said, if you a good person and have faith, you will go to heaven.
3: I am sorry, but there is a false hope in praying. Many pray, yet they are heart-broken in the end.
4: There is too much suffering, corruption, and such, and you would think God have looked upon the troops, the Middle East, Africa, etc.
I honestly do not know these days.

Belief is a funny word; however, if you believe that God reveals Himself to us, then words like God, devil come with that belief.
God is not some scientific theory that we have facts for. For some, there is no God, and others, there is a God. The bible never made the statement "there is a God", but is assumes it. There is no proof, just God's word for it.
The adversary (devil) can be found in the bible. So if you believe the revelation, you find the devil.

I believe that there is *A* god, or rather, A Goddess. But no devil. If their were a God, I would not think that the greatest of his Angels would have fallen so horribly. I believe that hell, and the devil, are scare tactics to get people to believe.

Yes I do, the devil (Lucificer) was at one time one of GOD's favorite angels until he was thrown out of heaven. I do not understand why some people think there can be good without bad.

God as in the creation ,but no devil.The only evil is what we bring upon ourselves and from other people.The devil made me do it,is just someone to blame so people will not take responsibility for their own guilt.

Yes I believe there is a devil.
I believe that satan will be vanquished and Jesus is King. I believe that the folly of men will be exposed and Jesus will come again to snatch his people from this earth and leave the earth to dissolve with fervent heat. I believe people will not repent (some of them) even when they know it's God allowing these prophecies to be fullfilled and by rejecting Christ deliberately even after he has proven himself,the pride they have let grow and grow and grow will be the downfall that leads them to hell itself. I sometimes wonder if people can repent and get out of hell. God is a merciful God. We don't know everything there is to know about him yet.

No I don't believe in god or the devil. I believe in charma. What goes around comes around. That when you die you come back as an animal or person depending on how good you were in your past life. For example, In your life as a human you were a serial killer then you will come back as a house fly. But if you were someone who acted good then you would come back as anouther human and if not that a powerful animal such as a tiger or shark. This prosess continues on forever. :) -T

yes there is definitley God and a devil. who ever doesnt belive in God is just plain stupid and doesnt know the truth. In some of the answers some people said that they didnt know how we could know anything about God. Well first of all God has sent down his son to die for us...to show us his love for each and everyone of us. the devil was an angel but fell away, i know all this cause when Jesus came down to earth he taught evryone who God is, but that was around 2000 years ago. But people wrote things down and it came to be a bible

Yes there is God. Check the holy bible it's true! I know! There is a devil but he can't get you if trust God and God will take you to heaven when you die.
