The reason I am asking this question is- if there are many paths to heaven, then are we putting God on our level? If someone believes that we can be good enough to earn heaven, how good do you have to be/ If Jesus is not the only way to heaven, then God made a mistake by sending Him to die, if you can get to heaven by believing your own way, Jesus died in vain, what are your thoughts on this?

expertless- one question directed at you- please answer by editing or email if you choose- where in scripture does it say, that ALL will be in heaven? Immediately after John 3:16- says that we are already condemned if we do not believe. Please back with scripture your statement.

I totally agree with you , because I agree with God, He makes the rules, and He said in His Word, that there is only one way to heaven and that is through His Son Jesus Christ.
What scares me but doesn't surprise me is, how many different versions of "being lost and deceived" show up here in this forum and the most dangerous deception is the ones who believe in God and not in hell or not in His Word . How crazy is that ,when God IS His Word and that's the only way that you can know Him, is in His Word ,where He reveals Himself to us, who love Him.
Many are going to have the surprise of a lifetime, when they die and stand before God. Then it will be too late.

I don't believe Jesus is the only way to heaven. I believe that if I live a righteous life and be of service to others and help the unfortunate, I am doing God's work and He will accept me into his presence after I die. I'm Jewish and that's what I believe. But I should add that I'm not saying that is a fact; it is what I believe. I know the difference between belief and factual information and I'm not arrogant enough to say that what I believe is the truth simply because I believe it. Some people ought to try to be a bit more humble.

The bible declares that Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Light, it says not no man can come to the Father except through Jesus. People think that if you have a good heart and do good things that you can go to heaven. But the bible says that we all fall short of the Glory of God. That means that we all sin and that none of us is perfect. Jesus is the only way, He's Alpha and Omega, The Bright and Morning Star, My Lilly of the Valley, My Redeemer, My Messiah, My Deliverer, The Author and Finisher of my Faith, He my all and God did not send him in Vain. There is no other on this earth and below that is greater than Jesus. There is no other name that I can call that's greater than the name of Jesus. He's my everything and I'm glad that I gave my life to him.

Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Before Jesus died we scarficied animals to God to cover up our sin, right? yes. But, Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice so that if we believe in Him, we're into Heaven. If God is real, which He is, then He did make the right decision because he knows everything.

I agree that Jesus is the only way to heaven, but where we differ would be on one point. Christ died for the sins of the whole world, not just 10 percent. He died for little babies, those who never heard, sinners, mockers, absolutely everyone. This is what makes Him so wonderful, He didn't pick and choose a few. What a wonderful love. I'm sure you agree so far, but I add that all will be with God someday because of Christ. All will come to repentence and believe. I don't know how or when, but God is love and love never fails. Therefore I do not believe in an eternal burning hell, which is totally against love.

Jesus is the not only the only way to heaven, He's the only way to life. When we come to Him, He gives us life -true life now and that life goes on forever! It's a life so strong it never dies!

I believe heaven is a fantasy land and not a real place. That's one reason I don't believe Jesus is the way to heaven.

I believe what the word of God says and nothing else
too many compromises to appease others there will be no compromise in Hell and they will know someone lied to them
All the rest is just wishful thinking

All prophets said they r the way to heaven. Jesus brought nothing new. Many prophets went heaven, nothing new.
