Is this for the ceremony? and is the ceremony in a church? If so you definitely need something hymn like or contemporary christian.

One song that comes to mind is
I Will Be Here by Steven Curtis Chapman, It would be easy for a soprano, not so easy for an alto. I'm not sure how easy it would be to sign.

Another suggestion is How Beautiful by Twila Paris, this is an absolutly beautiful song, it talk of the beauty of the body of Christ, but the third verse is about the bride and groom, a medium soprano could do this one well.

Other suggestions:
Covenant Hymn (Wherever you Go) - Gary Daigle
Bridal Prayer - Copeland
ONe Hand One Heart - Sondheim/Bernstein (West Side Story)
For You - Michael W. Smith
Friends - Michael W. Smith
The Wedding - Michael Card

There are many more out there, let me know if you get stuck!

Here's a few - In My Life by the Beatles
Just the Way you Are - Billy Joel
Wind Beneath My Wings - Bette Middler
Because You Loved Me - Celine Dion
Unforgettable - Natalie Cole
and because this is one of my favorite songs -

American Sign Language, Inc. Interpreting Service

I would suggest allowing best friend and her groom to select the song (so that it can be something meaningful to them personally). Then you can contact ASLI (contact info above) for assistance, once you have the song selected.
