Katie, people can be very mean regardless of the belief they may have. Far too many people look for fault within another to make themself feel better, the latter is a psychological fault of low self-esteem. Example: Tracy as a Christian is fully aware of her many mistakes but they are hidden within, sadly she is always looking at another to try and see fault within the next person that will mask her sins which will temporarily make her feel better. Truthfully, the above is an illusion that is perpetual and non-stop, the latter causes a great celebration in hell; satan and all the demons dance in harmony! I would try to limit your time with the current so-called friends you have while looking for new friends that show both compassion and love; merit and virtue is what a true believer will have in abundance! I have caught joy already- and it is the best thing- because joy is associated with Jesus, no matter what is going on in my life. Praise God that you have caught it too.

Why do you say just Christians? why not everyone?
I am a believer of God, and you have a good statement, but why not say "EVERYONE" :)
Remember WE ALL are God's children, even the non-believers and non-Christians(that do believe in God)
