And the fact that most of America worships a biblical monster that is all about hate and condemnation?

A murdering megalomaniac who is worshiped here certainly explains the amount of violence and murder here.

How many atheists are in prison in this country for murder and hate crimes?

Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)

They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

I do think that some people can become fixated on God and what God is 'asking' them to do. My mom is bi-polar and has an unhealthy idea of god, my uncle is schizophrenic and believed god was talking to him before he committed arson, an ex's father believed his son was from the devil and then ended up killing himself....... and these are only a few instances in my own life. I don't think that most rational people jump to these kinds of thoughts/actions but I don't really know the actual ratios. I don't believe in the Christian form of god or Jesus but I'm not an atheist (you already know this, you've seen me on here a million times) but I have seen people very close to me suffer because they thought they weren't good enough for god or Jesus. It was very unnerving and I used to be like this as well, to the point of making me emotionally unwell so I walked away from religion. Best to you.

have you never turned on TV?
do you really think people stand much more to religion than the violence in the TV?
i'm not referring only to violent movie, but even to the talk shows, news, and other.
it seems in your country is justified if somone kill someone else because he is in trouble for his family, or if he's a bad person or is justified if you get apart guys because they are skaters groupie or writers or drugged and so on.
when i look at your movies i only watch judjement about all the thing the good society dowsn't like
maybe this way to show the life could influence violence, incrementig division, hate, revenge, don't you think?

Yes.
The WHOLE WORLD, even strong allies such as the UK, is going to have a big problem with America the way things are going. It's very sad and very worrying.

No. The Bible doesnt advocate violence and in fact teaches peace.

The passages you are referring to hinge on the OLD COVENANT which stated that if Israel remained a holy nation for God, he would bless them. If they didnt, he would curse them.

We here in the 21st century live under the NEW COVENANT which states that anybody who wants salvation from the coming wrath can believe in Jesus and do his will.

Poland has one of the lowest crime rates in the world, and its citizens are about 90% practicing Catholic.

The problem with the U.S. is not that most of its citizens are "Christians." The problem is overcrowding, and the fact that there are so many different races and belief systems. Also...there are many people who call themselves Christians because they hold the beliefs, but their lifestyle says otherwise.

As underdude replaced into asserting; "For all have sinned and fall shorth of the appreciate of God." Romans 3:23. no one is suited. Christians are not suited. Athiests are not suited. Athiests are everywhere. Christians are everywhere. purely by using fact there's a low crime fee and a extreme p.c. of the inhabitants is Athiest, does not advise that Athiests are greater valuable. i don't think of that Christians are greater valuable than Athiests, and that i don't think of Athiests are greater valuable than Christians. we are all sinners, subsequently all of us need to flow to Hell. i'm unlikely to take a seat down and argue with you that Hell is genuine, yet once you refuse to have faith then it is your loss. Please. As Christians, we purely prefer to share our faith and basically wish which you recognize. in any case, you will all be in my prayers. God bless you! :)

Maybe violent crime - we are violent animals. There's a lot of people in jail for trafficking drugs (yet, not one director of a cigarette or alcohol company, hmmmm).
