I live in Maryland and state tax is 5 cent on every dollar and minimum wage is 6.15

I live in Massachusetts, minimum wage is $7.50 per hour, which will rise to $8.00 per hour effective 1/1/08, and the tax rate is 5.3% (12% for short term capital gains taxes). I've also attached a link to a website for minimum wages for all the states and income tax rates for all the states.

The minimum wage is country-wide and set my the federal government. Texas has no state income tax.

PA - minimum wage is 7.15 per hour. Sales tax is 6% statewide, with additional local sales tax in some areas around Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
