There is no doubt that science has been hijacked by atheists (or so they think) and is simply being used to further their worldview politically and socially. I guess we're just going to have to repeat history having another Joseph Stalin. This is what happens when atheism truly inpires those who gain power.

What leads you to believe that "scientists lie about evolution"?
Evolution has been proven over and over again and, since the discovery of DNA and it's ability to trace generations, the science of evolution is speeding ahead.
Religions, on the other hand, are based on oral-based explanations of a world the teller has no knowledge of. Naturally occuring events were explained away by saying some "god" is punishing or blessing. When ignorance abounds, the ignorant try to find a reason for nature and naturally occuring events. So, the ignorant tell stories and fairy tales about superhuman entities.
That is what ALL religions are based on......What surprises is that, in this age of enlightenment, when so much information is available, people still cling to the old myths.

Searching, you must continue searching, so that you will go to greater depths for your questions, which are honest and real.
Evolution occurs over thousands of years, not during the course of an egg's being laid and hatched.
You state that nobody catches fish that are part some other animal, while overlooking fundamentally that evolution deals with adopting to environments, not melding with various creatures. Therefore, there are lantern fish at the greatest depths of the ocean-creatures that over the millenia have devloped an appendage with a glowing light, literally to illuminate the pitch black water in the crushing depths.
What an odd question about scientists having more faith in "their God then Christians do in the Christian God?" Scientists deal with facts, tangible things. Christians align thir lives to the interpretated teachings of Christ. Scientists do not doubt Christ existed, but many suspect the western system of belief that surrounds Christ, due to its hostility and resistance to change, and the fact that Christians have often gone and wantonly killed and persectured those who choose to believe otherwise.
Spending millions on testimonies of "Christians who get healed" would be useless. Trust me, with the misery and sickness in the world, if faith-based were as effective of the Xtian Taliban wishes you to believe, there would be thousands of walking testimonials. There few, because most don't hold up under scrutiny.
No, the prophecy isn't being fulfilled all around us in R & S. It merely shows that while Christ remains sublime and above reproach, organized, modern religion has revealed itself to be unreliable and inapplicable in solving modern world problems. This is reflected in the posts, often indignantly.
Modern people hate for entertainment. This includes everybody. One's relationship with God must be individual. Did the appalling Rev. Jones lead his congregation to God when he forced them to drink cyanide-laced Kool-Aid? They know to beware of false prophets, and simply express it in the modern vernacular of the day, which isn't notoble for civility, respect or tolerence of others.

Scientists aren't lying about evolution, it's as good as fact. A theory in science is a supported model. Evolution is too complex and can't be repeated or observed, that's why it's not a law. There's so much proof for evolution, that not believing it is being dumb. Gravity is also a theory in evolution, maybe you don't believe that either?
Conclusion: You need to take a biology class.

Valued judgments and biases are not science. Science is the unprejudiced observation of natural events that occur repeatedly enough to form an inference. If it can't be observed with one or more of our five senses, it is not in the realm of science at all. I see a picture hanging on the wall. That is a scientific statement. That picture is ugly. That is not a scientific statement. That is a valued judgment. When it comes to how the universe came into being there was no one to observe the events. So no science is possible. Science is limited to observation of the physical world. It cannot observe scientifically the spiritual world.

First, I want to point out that I am a Christian.
Second, I depend on the findings of science, since I use such modern conveniences as air conditioners, TVs, radios, cars, computers, the refrigerator, microwave ovens, and so many other things.
I don't think scientists are deliberately out to lie about things. I just think they are misinformed about some things, such as the workings of DNA, mitochondria, protein and protein synthesis, cell duplication, the energy cycle in which raw materials are converted to usable energy for the cell, etc, etc, etc.
They need to be taught the truth about science, and the truth about religion so they could be guided back to reality, rather than believing fairy tales based on the imaginations of one man (Charles Darwin).
They obviously have never studied Darwin's so-called science, and how he thought that the cell was the smallest divisible part of a living thing. He thought that external pressures could cause the "ambiotic fluid" (as he called it) within the cell of the foetus to change the function of the cell so it could be born differently from the mother, so as to be able to cope with the new environment.
We shouldn't be angry at them. We should pity them for their trust in a man who created a system based on false presumptions, and perhaps one day they might be able to put aside their foolish "lies" (ie mistaken concepts).

Evolution theory is based on actual evidence. Creationists theory is based upon the book of Genesis and wishful thinking...and a lot of ignorance.
Just because an idea is secular in origin doesn't mean its evil!

1) No, actually, we DO have facts. Here they are. http://www.talkorigins.org and if you're not going to click, we'll all know you're just ignoring them out of willful ignorance.
2) You wouldn't. Evolution is slow and small. You might want to take a course in it - you seem to be misunderstanding it.
3) Scientists are not all atheists. But I am. And that means I don't worship ANY gods.
4) Why should we? We know it's not true. Thousands of years of observation have shown that.
5) No. 90% of my country is Chrisitan - and you're claiming persecution? Not likely.

Secondly the stories of christians being healed doesn't make it into the mainstream media because they are they are just that, stories.

All Scientists don't subscribe to evolution. Because evolution is not a science. Evolution defies mathematical probability. Evolution defies laws of physics (second law of thermodynamics.). It’s a hypothesis that has never been proved.

Scientist are not lying about evolution. They truly believe that they are right. Evolution is a logical conclusion based on the fact that there is no reason to assume that God exists, from a scientific point of view. I don't think it's the correct reasoning because I believe evolution does not take into account physics, but that's another matter altogether.
