if the sale of peanut butter was banned by christian authorities, would they have freak fanatics bombing peanut butter factories or stores that insisted on your free will/ choice to use peanut butter?

I would imagine that Christians (or anyone else, for that matter) who put great stock in "authority" to the point of blindly following without giving thought or researching for themselves, would abstain from peanut butter and the media. It would take the prerequisite of "spiritual" blindness....and a weak mind.....but unfortunately you are not that far off the literal mark with your "what if".

Then peanut butter would be considered evil, and you would have protesters outside of stores protesting the sale of evil peanut butter, and how it is harming our children, and contributing to all that is immoral and corrupt in the world. Politicians would be outed for admitting peanut butter consumption.

seems there's a Ben & Jerry's ice cream that's coffee with chunks of chocolate and peanut butter. i'd be incorrect on that. If there is not then i'd opt to invent it and patent it too, lol! Sooo, my answer after that's coffee Ice cream!

I'd still continue to eat peanut butter. I consider myself spiritual, but I don't fit in with any organized religion because of a lot of nonsense rules and beliefs.

I don't listen to Christian "authorities" so I would go about my business as usual. The only authorities I submit to are Jesus Christ, the Bible, the Holy Spirit, and God Himself. All others are irrelevant.

Jesus didn't say that peanut butter or coffee were off limits. Enjoy!

I don't listen to any "christian authorities" - they are just merely men who make rules and regulations - usually religious in nature so please don't call them Christian.

Interesting question. I think I'd do a little prayer and see what God had to say about it. If I felt He thought it was true, for whatever reason, I would go without it. If I felt He thought it was silly, I would continue eating it. God is my authority.

you've got it batgirl. God is the ultimate authority, and His Word is where I go to find my answers. anyone else, even a Christian, can mess up. that's why you can't always believe what you hear ...you've got to search the Bible for yourself. man is a failure only 100 percent of the time
