Why do you think there are drinking questions? Adding some alcohol to the poison.

"Water" and "Poison" are in the eye of the beholder. There will always be people who see the worst in everything.....it's their nature. Sometimes a person will ask a question that may seem "unrelated" to everyone else but himself, but it's his way of "breaking the ice" or trying to remain "aloof" while still seeking answers for what he's going through. A "hate-filled" answer can be considered in the same category. Underneath may also be a searching soul. I would be more leery of indifference....that is a mind made up.

I think that there is more than that. The heated arguments generate attention. I don´t think that posting in other topics would bring such a diverse panel of opinions. Predictably, R&S was destined to become the most disagreed upon forum, but that´s not necessarily bad. Form disagreement, essence is born and probably the better ideas that would not come out if the "challengers" were not stressed in thinking for the most "machiavellian... lol" answer.
Polemics is, in my opinion... fun. It´s not a "bitter war" as some would like to portray, It´s a battlefield were no one seems to have the last word. It may seem futile, but, it´s not the destination that´s important... It´s the voyage...

I think the poison is the atheists and the water which can be turned into Holy Water would save a lot of people on here.

It is only exchange of ideas and thoughts and to share other people of what the other party know about the matter. That is not considered debate and argument.
