Serious answers please and I would like to know of any personal experiences you have had...

Many years ago, I lived next door to a member of this sect and I met many others too. They used to meet in a second floor building once a week and after listening to them for a while, I realized they were being brainwashed by a guru whose voice was being broadcast throughout this room. I was asked to join this sect and I went to one meeting and never went back. When this member moved out of his apartment, he gave me the rug that Maharaj-ji sat on and he went into some kind of idol worship about it. It was just a rug and I don't believe in sects of any kind. It's basically brainwashing into worshipping the guru Maharaj-ji. Many of these members had self-esteem problems and never succeeded in anything they did because they surrendered their decision making to a pseudo-religious leader. This is based on my personal experience with these people.
