either spring or autumn .. but deffo not December
most scholars would agree also
it has to do with the position of the stars as said in the bible and that the sheep were in the fields etc
April is the preferred choice amongst scholars

no he died in April (Nisan 14 former Abib 14) date of passover (Luke 22:1-19 and exodus 12:1-5 and 13:1-5, Esther 3:7-8) and his DOB is exactly six month later Tisri 15 (September 27 this years) another jewish holiday.
IT IS the seventh day of the Jewish month Nisan in the year 33 C.E. Imagine that you are observing events in the Roman province of Judea. Leaving Jericho and its lush foliage, Jesus Christ and his disciples are trudging up a dusty, twisting road. Many other travelers are also on their way up to Jerusalem for the annual Passover celebration. However, more than this tiring climb is on the minds of Christ's disciples.

An athiest history professor said, "Everyone knows Jesus was born in April, this is when Rome did their census'." Also the Bible gives clues to the time of year.
In the Doctrine and Covenants it states in Section 20:1, "The rise of the Church of Christ in these last days, BEING ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND THIRTY YEARS SINCE THE COMING OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST IN THE FLESH, it being regularly organized and established agreeable to the laws of our country, by the will and commandments of God, in the fourth month, and on the sixth day of the month which is called April— " (April 6)

No it is not the true birthday of Jesus. The emperor Constantine changed the date of the birth of Jesus to coincide with the celebration of the Persian God Mithra. In the same decree he also changed the official christian day of worship to sun-day to honor the Sun God that he himself worshiped. Goggle Mithra or origin of the bible and you will get some well written summaries of the events that surrounded these changes that Constantine made to Christianity. Prior to the 4th century Christianity was very much about enlightening the common person with the true teachings of Jesus. After about 325 AD Christianity became more about subverting Jesus' true message and controlling the common man with Guilt about the Crucifixion. Love and blessings Don

Jesus was born on May 23. This date was revealed by the Holy Spirit Himself. I learned about this in 1983 but only started to check it out in 1999 when we connected to the Internet.
I made my research on this date from 2004 to 2006 after I had proven that His other revelation that Jesus was crucified and died on August 17 is correct. Results of this study is in http://www.geocities.com/peacecrusader888/crucifyidx.htm.
Just like the first, I found the date May 23 to be correct. You will be surprised on the year. It is 33 BC! So His age when He died? He was 32 solar years old or 33 lunar years! Results of this study is in http://www.geocities.com/peacecrusader888/birthmay23.htm.
The dates were revealed by the Holy Spirit Himself. I just checked them out. I did not pick those dates from thin air. Did you know that had I proven Him wrong, you would not be seeing me posting like this on the Internet?

I know it wasn't December, nobody said it was. The date December 25 was just chosen, you know, like if you were born on February 29, you might want to celebrate it on February 28.
But would somebody with some knowledge of Jewish history please answer what was that celebration that Had Mary and Joseph visiting Bethlehem (wasn't it Passover?) and what month that was supposed to be?

I dont know when his real birthday is meant to be, but it isn't the 25 of December. It's only celebrated then so the church can compete with a pagan celebration.

Put it this way. You are a shepherd. Whether you live next year depends on caring for your sheep. Are you going to have your flock out in the snow on the mountainsides in December? Or wait till there is grass to eat in spring?

Bible scholars note that he was not born in winter. December was just the winter soltice festival, e.g The Romen Saturnalia. There is controversy about the exact dte, but it was not in December for certain. Read the Bible closely and see.
