Feeling different about yourself/ your body is a natural part of growing up. May also be the move, you had to leave your friends behind. As far as the boy in FLA goes, you two can remain long distance friends for the time being, until one of you are old enough to travel to visit with the other one.

You just sound like you're moving on, and your life is changing... remembering this special person and the time you two spent together is one way to remember how things use to be, how you use to be before the big move and everything started to change... I imagine it's comforting to have memories you can hold onto to help cope with the bigger changes you go through in life...

I strongly suggest you don't define yourself by boys. You define yourself by doing well in school, following your dreams and doing well for yourself by respecting YOU.

It's fine to like someone, it's not fine to not feel yourself because of them.

I see too many females (young and old alike) change who they are and what they think for men. They are the most miserable people I know on the planet. Don't be like them. Be yourself.
