My mum says that if men or boys have no/shaved/weak eyebrows, he would likely to encounter bad luck for the rest of his life or can't be employed or promote in a higher standard in your job!
Is this true?
I don't think so, she is crazy! She has been bullying me about my eyebrows.

Hi, hon. Although I think you should respect your mother's opinion. what she says is not true. She may be repeating things her mother said to her, which her mother heard from her mother, etc., etc.
Physical characteristics such as eyebrow width do not indicate or control a person's state in life. When you meet someone new, pay attention to who they are, how they treat others, their moral values, etc. Those types of things may still not indicate how successful the guy will be, but it will show you whether or not this guy is nice, whether his views on spirituality and morals are compatible with yours, and whether or not you should pursue friendship with him.
As for your mom "bullying" you about your eyebrows, you may have to learn to live with it. Try not to be confrontational with her. Simply respond to her bullying, very calmly, that you have chosen to keep your brows thinned and that thinner brows are the norm in this culture. Would she take that well? If not, try to remain calm during discussions with her and show her you respect her. That will help a lot. Good luck!

I would really like to know where she gets this information. As a hair stylist, we have men come in all the time where I work to get their brows waxed. Most corporations would prefer a clean cut look, then a guy who has the bushiest eyebrows that are never trimmed/ or the unibrow. So, she is incorrect and no offense, maybe she might want to do a little research before she says anymore.

Tell her she's talking c**p ! That's as bad as saying guys whose eyebrows meet in the middle are all murderers ! ( a friend of mine was told that once )
You have whatever eyebrows you want...be individual !
And by the way, I'm not some young, freaky person...I'm late 40s with 2 grown up kids :)

That can't be true. Of all the different levels of prejudice in America, I don't think eyerbow specification is one of them. This sounds like another unfounded superstition from the old school.

i dont know it like what my mom said. left eye twitching mens u get money ( i got money ) when you put something on backwards ( not on purposs ) u get a gift( i got a gift ) your mom might be right! but it is still a good idea to wax or pluck your eyebrows. Good Luck and i hope i helped!

your mom is superstitius
there is a grain of truth to it though
people who shave there eyebrows are wussies and probably suck balls
thats why they dont get promoted or anyting
just to clarify if you lost you eyebrow hair due to cancer your still cool

No thats is deff not true.
But you should deff wax yours tho, i first did mine 1 month ago, cause my friends mom told me mine looked like a cavemans lol it wasnt that bad, so she brought me to get it done
