The final two cars that you have narrowed it down to are both very good cars. I had a 2006 Honda Accord and loved the car -excellent gas mileage, sporty, and plain fun to drive. The only problem that I ran into was it was only front wheel drive and I did get stuck in the snow several times and had to ultimately trade it on a 4runner - which I love, but I had a bond with my Honda. When we looked at getting the Honda we also test drove a Toyota Camry and we found it to be quite slower despite the fact that it was supposed to have more horsepower - so my vote would be the Honda - they last forever with good resale.

Consumer Reports magazine says that both models, as used cars, have excellent reliability. The Honda is slightly better, except for slightly higher number of problems with the transmission.
So, buy the one that feels the best and looks the best to you. Be sure to have a qualified mechnanic inspect any car you decide to you. Do not take the word of the seller when you buy a used car. Used cars are sold "as-is" which means you can't take it back if you discover problems later, even if the seller lied to you.

The Accord is better. It has must haves and some nice to haves. The Solara just has nice to haves. The Solara is also too big and heavy for it's chassis.

Very similar cars. The Toyota will generally have thicker, more comfortable seats, Both are very reliable. It's so hard of a decision because there isn't much difference. Pick either, you'll love it.

Flip a coin, they're both excellent cars. You won't go wrong with either one.

Accord would be the best because faster, handles better, and it has more features.
