So heavenly sword looked really good. People were bragging about how lair had the best graphics ever. Every non xbox 360 owner says that the xbox 360 suck like crap. Even with the 100 cut off, the PS3 is still lagging behind in wii and xbox, even with the blu ray. And more studios are backing with HD DVD. So no, Im not that great of a marketing expert. But i know that the DVD's are better if u can just get a DVD player to up scale your movies to near HD content. So Spring is the PS3 's time to bring in big guns season. Microsoft is just Try to knock Sony off its feet. The wii has the most potential. So it just bring in my opinion.

You are obviously not a marketing expert....First of all big ticket items like the PS3 sell the most around the holidays and like the guy above said .."it's not just a game system"....Now consider that the 360 has had 2 holiday seasons to sell and it didn't do well at all the first holiday (2005) and microsoft had to offer $100 rebates on all their systems this past holiday (2006) to get their sales up they even extended the rebate 60 days after the holidya season in an attempt to compete.......Second the only exclusive holding 360 together is halo...wait until consumers find out that the only spice to halo 3 is online (not of enough room on the disc to make it a quality game) , You could say Bioshock is an exclusive but since they released it to the PC (vista ) it can be easily played by anyone with or without a 360....For the PS3 You forgot to mention the exclusive "ratchet and clank tools of destruction " which is and only will be on the ps3 and that series has a huge following......

Blockbuster will only rent movies that are in Blueray for their hd selection....Many retail stores will begin to only carry Blueray for hd movies....So unless microsoft releases a blueray player for xbox 360 at a huge additional cost to the 360 owner and the ps3 is already a blue ray player it would seem this holiday the ps3 will do very very well...

Remember the elite with limited dx9 graphics and no internet browser, and no Hddvd capability out of the box cost $479..THe ps3 which is a complete home entertainment center is now only $499 and is capable of 3d and 4d realsim which the 360 cannot acheive....
Due some research and understand a game is only as good as what the developer puts into it...To make their name in the gaming industry they have to create the best and the 360 is too limiting and some developers are really getting into what the ps3 can do and are loving it....

Post this question a year from now and you'll see how silly it sounds to many of us that test games and gaming systems for a living...

Question 1: Do you own a PS3?
Question 2: Have you played the demos for Heavenly Sword or Lair?
Question 3: If you are thinking that the 360 is better because of Halo 3, which seems to be the only selling point for the 360, then how long do they have?

A lot of opinions are given about the fate of the PS3 by people that don't even own one. You all read what other non-owners say and there you go. Your mind is made up. Well as a PS3 owner I have to say that based on the demos that I have downloaded from the Playstation store, PS3 is headed in the right direction. Give gamemakers a little more time to figure out how to use all of that power and space. 360 & Wii owners will then be the ones asking if it is make or break it time.

By the way, you should add Folklore to that list of upcoming games. After playing the demo I will be buying it on day one.

thinking I truthfully have one, and function had one considering the fact that launch day, so I truthfully have the earliest version, it has under no circumstances broken down for me. Any bugs are fixed in patches that are downloaded quickly each 2 or 3 weeks. those sites of those PS3's breaking down are those of a. X360 fanboys, attempting to assert how lots pssucks b. Dolts, who probable dropped their playstation. c. probable working the gadget incorrect. EDIT: sure, I truthfully have had Folding homestead working for in step with week at a time now and returned, and that i think my playstation, and it particularly is cool. 2nd EDIT: the lady above me, who published the 4 hyperlinks, it particularly is crud. a million shows a broken disc tension, which could be led to by utilising BANGING around, the 2nd shows a message board, sayin g oh my PS3 broke, and it exchange into the 1st positioned up on the PS3 message board. Suspicious lots? The 0.33 is a information article. Whoopdee doo. It has not something to do with it breaking down. Then ultimately, the final one she screws herself. The board she published says the X360 has the genuine heating undertaking, and breaks down greater suitable than the PS3.

well you are only basing it off of games you got to remember their also the online feature that the ps3 will be offering such as home and lot of more stuff. there is a rumor going around that sony just made a deal with some company so that your ps3 will become a dvr.....so that would be an awesome feature. but i say i don't think the ps3 will be a failure because of just those 2 games just because some game are coming out for both console graphics might come out better for the ps3. for example rockstar had to actaully cut back on some things in order to make the gta4 compatiable for both console. so i would say give it some time and game developers are really hype up for the ps3. remember no game has use the ps3 full potential...and everyone is anxious about "home" now if home isn't what everyone is expecting then i think that gonna hurt more than games!!!

Agree with the answers above, and just adding that so far the PS3 is selling as well, if not better, than the PS2 and PS1 did at this stage of their lives. (And you can't say they failed.)
And, considering how good MGS4, LBP and GT5 look and play NOW, there is little to no chance of them going **** up completely.
